And every time I talked to him, he'd say, oh, it's all right, it'll be all right. And then he told me that I looked like them and he said, What would you do if I told you that they were your parents? What Kay McDonald didn't know was that there was a whole slew of people in her church community who had heard about the rumored baby switch from the beginning. When I weighed the baby, she weighed two and 1/2 pounds less than her birth weight. Incredibly, when Marti was 21 years old, someone actually told her that she might not be a Miller.
